Our Hong Kong Senior Team ranked 9th in the d'Orsi Trophy (World Bridge Teams Championships - Senior Section), just 1 position to the knockout phase. This is a very good result among our history.
Congratulations to our Hong Kong Senior Team members: Derek Zen, Samuel Wan, Roger Ling, Edmund Tse, Peter Yeung, Pauline Ling (coach) and Leo Cheung (non-playing captain).

An extra-ordinary General Meeting will be held on 28 August (Monday next week). As you know the Mariners' Club will be re-built very soon, the Council is going to share with you the proposal of new venue, the new training system and the other latest news. Since it is very important to every member, please do come and attend the EGM.

We will need to raise hkd 2.3m for renovations. To acknowledge the generosity of your donations, the names of members who donate HKD 10k or above will be displayed within the new clubhouse and the names of members who donate over hkd 200k will be engraved on the bridge tables.
cheque to 'Hong Kong Contract Bridge Association Limited' and at the back of cheque please write R&D fund and 'name' would like to be displayed-English or Chinese or both are welcome. Please send the cheque to G.P.O. Box 1445, Hong Kong by 31 Oct 2017.
