Mr. Robert Zajac (we called him Bobby) was the former President of Hong Kong Contract Bridge Association (HKCBA) during 2004 to 2006. He had since 1985 joined HKCBA Council and contributed a lot in promoting Contract Bridge in the society. Many of our bridge friends knew him through different bridge occasions. Bobby was a bridge addict, we saw his enthusiasm not only at the bridge table. He was writing for a bridge column in the South China Morning Post and his bridge articles were interesting and inspiring.
Our deepest condolences to Bobby’s family and May he rest in peace.

In view of the spread of COVID-19 in Hong Kong and concern from some of the participants, the 2020 WBG Ladies Trial will be postponed until further notice.

In view of the spread of COVID-19 in Hong Kong and concern from some of the participants, the 2020 WBG Ladies Trial will be postponed until further notice.

Given the current COVID-19 outbreak, in view of the safety of our participants and their families, the Organizing Committee has reluctantly decided to postpone the Inter-City Bridge Championship 2020, which is orginally scheduled in mid-July.
The Organizing Committee will continue to observe the current situation and search for the venue availability and time suitability. We will probably make further decision in mid-2020. We will keep the best interests and safety of the participants as priority.
We hope to see you soon again in the coming Intercity. Stay tuned. Stay healthy.
