Alerting Policy

We are reviewing the alerting policy. Please feel free to suggest or comment.

To foster a cordial and respectful playing environment, HKCBA is undertaking a review on its alerting policy to clarify players' responsibilities regarding alerts at the table. The consultation now commences and will end on 11 July 2025. Members are encouraged to submit their feedback to us. HKCBA Council will consider the views received before making a decision, and reserves the right to extend the consultation period if deemed necessary.

A briefing session (by zoom meeting) will be arranged in 7 July 7pm tentatively.

Recruiting new youth team members

The HKCBA is now recruiting new youth team members, under categories U21, U26 and U26 Girls.
 
Interested members please send an email to youth@hkcba.org with (not limited to) the information below:
 
    1. No. of years playing bridge
    2. Past Tournament Results
    3. Regular partner name
    4. A few words explaining your aspiration in joining youth team 
 
A short interview including a written test will be conducted on 31/8/2025 (afternoon).  Details will be sent via email later.
Recruitment of coach for national games

We are recruiting coaches for national games. Interested parties please send your bridge CV, and a training plan to hkcbaadm@hkcba.org on or before 30 Jun.

 

Requirements:

- At least 1 year of bridge teaching or coaching experience.

 

An interview will be arranged with candidates who have a training plan that the selection panel considers appropriate. Details of the training plan will be discussed during the interview.
