An extra-ordinary General Meeting will be held on 28 August (Monday next week). As you know the Mariners' Club will be re-built very soon, the Council is going to share with you the proposal of new venue, the new training system and the other latest news. Since it is very important to every member, please do come and attend the EGM.

於8月28日晚本會的EGM，已通過租用油麻地基利商業大廈20樓連天台作為本會長期會所，而新會所暫定於本年12月啓用。現時本會需要籌募230萬作為新會所的裝修費，極需要各會員支持。所謂多多益善，少少無拘。為答謝會員慷慨解囊，凡捐贈港幣1萬或以上人士，將於新會址當眼位置留名。而捐款達港幣20萬或以上的捐款人，則可以在新會所的其中一張橋牌桌面刻上名字。

各會員如有興趣捐款或有任何有關問題, 可電郵 clubhouse@hkcba.org, 或致電Dicky Lai (電話: 94152075, whatsapp亦可). 請於十月三十一日前, 把支票奇到 'G.P.O. Box 1445, Hong Kong', 抬頭請註明 'Hong Kong Contract Bridge Association Limited', 支票背面請寫上 'R&D fund', 並加上你打算刻上去的名字 (中英皆可).

The HKCBA EGM held on the 28th Aug 2017 has approved to rent the new location of the HKCBA clubhouse. The new clubhouse will be located at 20/F, Kelly Commercial Centre and the tentative date for use is Dec 2017.

We will need to raise hkd 2.3m for renovations. To acknowledge the generosity of your donations, the names of members who donate HKD 10k or above will be displayed within the new clubhouse and the names of members who donate over hkd 200k will be engraved on the bridge tables.

If you are interested in donations or you have any queries on clubhouse, please email to clubhouse@hkcba.org, or contact Mr. Dicky Lai (Tel: 94152075). Please write the
cheque to 'Hong Kong Contract Bridge Association Limited' and at the back of cheque please write R&D fund and 'name' would like to be displayed-English or Chinese or both are welcome. Please send the cheque to G.P.O. Box 1445, Hong Kong by 31 Oct 2017.
